We are closed on Monday, February 18th for President’s Day! We will not have a potluck that day. We will meet on Tuesday, February 19th at 5:00 for our weekly potluck.

Kick up the intensity! Only a week and a half to go!

Time to reevaluate your weights! Increase your speed, incline or resistance level.
Remember, you get what you work for.

i remember seeing a sign @ the gym that says something like “sweat is your fat crying”. mine is sobbing on a daily basis! so why doesn’t it go away, if it’s so unhappy????

I’m happy to say that even though most of the challenge is over with I am FINALLY MAKING time – not trying to FIND time – to get in and work out. And even in just over two days saw an increase in my endurance and my will to push myself. Only I can get off my butt and make myself do something, no matter how much support I have.

It is always so hard to lose weight, yet so easy to gain it back. If I cut back enough to lose weight, the minute I let my guard down the weight is back. It is truly frustrating!!! This week when I worked out on the bike, I decided to use weights too, especially since my arms do not get a workout when using the bike. What I did was pedal for 2 minutes with the weights resting on my legs, then I would pedal and move my arms up and down, side to side with the weights for 2 minutes. I did this for 20 minutes and I had sweat pouring off my face. So the next time I use the bike, I am going to use the weights too.
