Sun Salutations

Here’s the video of Elise demonstrating one cycle of a Sun Salutation!

Everyone is different – some will want to make the Sun Sals easier while others will want to increase the difficulty. Please feel free to share any tips with other challengers. Notice there are many variations of the Sun Salutation sequence – find out what works for you! Combine aspects of different styles until you find a method that is comfortable for you, yet still challenging.

Note: this version is slightly different than previous years. If you are already doing Sun Sals and feel comfortable with the version you’re doing, keep on keepin’ on! If you need help modifying, just ask us (or watch the YouTube videos below).

I can’t seem to view the more advanced video version. it’s ok tho, I think I’ve got it down. I’m adding the balanced chair to my sun sals this week – challenging!

thanks for posting those videos, Brie! I watched them all. My goal is to someday be as graceful in my movements!

I’ve been doing more Sun sals daily. Almost everyday this week I have done my Sun sals with Christina along with my flexibility, push ups, core, and plank. Doing all of that with a friend is a great motivation and helps you push yourself when you see a friend doing it too. I went passed a minute on my plank this week too! Also I started being able to do some core exercises that I couldn’t do in the weeks before.
